New BitNinja Agent Release 3.17.4: Native eBPF IP Set Lookups and Service Reliability

BitNinja Linux Agent 3.17.4 adds native, in-process eBPF map lookups for IP set membership checks and improves the lifecycle handling of the BitNinja Hyper Monitor service. The release is available through the FREQUENT and BETA update channels.

IpFilter and eBPF Map Lookups

IpFilter now integrates the bpfpolicier PHP extension to perform native, in-process eBPF map lookups for IP set membership checks. BitNinja Dojo 2.8.6 adds the php-bpfpolicier extension required for these lookups.

Using in-process lookups provides IpFilter with direct access to eBPF map membership checks within the PHP environment.

BitNinja Hyper Monitor

BitNinja Hyper Monitor 1.0.2 fixes an issue that could cause the bitninja-hyper-monitor service to become stuck during its lifecycle. The service can now properly handle startup, shutdown, and restart operations.

BitNinja Policier

BitNinja Policier 1.0.1 enhances list counts so they differentiate between active and logically expired BPF entries. This provides a clearer distinction between currently active entries and entries that have logically expired.

BitNinja WAF Pro

BitNinja WAF Pro 1.1.2 fixes the systemd service file existence check in the post-installation process.
